Anshu Dubey, ANL

Biography

Anshu Dubey is a Computational Scientist in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory. She received her Ph.D, in Computer Science from Old Dominion University in 1993, and her B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology New Delhi in 1985. Before joining Argonne she was briefly at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and prior to that she was the Associate Director of the Flash Center for Computational Science at the University of Chicago. Her research interests span all aspects of High-Performance Computing for scientific discovery, and software sustainability. She is the chief software architect for FLASH, a Multiphysics scientific simulation code with a wide user base. She is the Associate Editor for Parallel Computing and also serves as Subject Area Editor for International Journal of High-Performance Computing Applications. She is the Workshops chair for SC21, chaired the Applications track in SC14 and SC17 and HPC-ASIA 2020, and has served on numerous other program committees. From 2017-2020 she was a member of the leadership team for the US Department of Energy’s Exascale Computing Project (ECP), where she provided oversight for Earth and Space Science Applications.
