Biography
Daniele Lezzi, PhD received the Ph.D. in Information Technology Engineering in 2007 from the University of Salento, Italy. Since 2008 he is researcher in the Computer Sciences department of Barcelona Supercomputing Center. His research interest covers programming frameworks for HPC and for Distributed computing infrastructures like Clouds and Edge. He participated in several EC funded projects like GridLab, CoreGRID, BEinGRID, OGF- Europe, SIENA, VENUS-C, IS-ENES, EGI Federated Cloud, EU-Brazil (OpenBio, Cloud Connect, BIGSEA) collaborations, and mF2C. He is currently involved in the BioExcel Center of Excellence for Computational Biomolecular Research, and in the AI-SPRINT, eFlows4HPC and in the LANDSUPPORT projects.
