Session VII: Advances in non-von Neumann Architectures

With the end of Dennard Scaling and the apparent end of Moore’s Law, we are presented with an opportunity to think differently about computation. Many non-Von Neumann approaches, including neuromorphic, systolic, and quantum architectures are gaining a foothold in scientific computation.

In this session, we will consider several non-von Neumann (and a few von Neumann) approaches.
